5 PM Update

This is truly amazing.  It is proof that God still has plans for Taylor Elizabeth Bufford.  She looks so good.  She has had about 20 visitors go back to see her and she has been able to stay awake to see them all!  She has talked to all of them.  She said "I love all of ya'll, and I'll be out of here before you know it!"  Thank you all for all of your continuous prayers, love and support!  

She had to see Tyler when mom and dad went back to see her.  She didn't believe (she forgot) that she dropped him off before the accident...  She says her back hurts..she asked about her vehicle, they told her it was completely totaled.  She wrinkled her nose at that.  Tyler made it into her room and she was glad to see him and then she told him "you stink"...because....He had left the hospital for the 1st time (literally)!  He was not out in the waiting room when they came out to get him.  That is love. <3
She is resting again now.  I will let you all know more when I do...Keep Praying!

Prayer Warriors

The Prayer Warriors were just in with Taylor to pray for her and they said the ventilator was out!  She has an oxygen mask on now..Then the doctor came out and asked mom and dad if they wanted to see her!!  PRAISE GOD!!

Thursday 1PM Update

GOOD NEWS!!  Mom and Dad just came out smiling!  They are about to take the ventilator out...Taylor's eyes are open and she was just communicating with mom and dad with hand motions and shaking her head, etc.  The nurses were telling them to step out while they did this and they were so excited to communicate with her they were asking her a few questions.  Taylor was pointing and trying to tell them to listen to the nurses and go so they could get "it" out, so sweet!

Addition to Thursday mornings update

Taylor's swelling has gone down some since they have had her inclined some in the bed.  She is so strong, the little "Wonder Woman" is doing better than the doctors originally expected!  She just needs you all to keep on praying, it works, and thank you all for all of your prayers.  Hopefully by the end of the week she will be of the ventilator...

Thursday Morning

This morning, Taylor Elizabeth Bufford is awake and has her eyes open and she was sitting up a little in the bed.  (instead of laying flat).  We are still waiting to find out about her how her lungs are going to do.  They are going to gradually do this.  Please continue to pray that when this happens her lungs will stay strong.

Wednesday July 20, 2011 (after surgery)

OK GUYS...GOOD NEWS!! Taylor Elizabeth Bufford is out of the L4 L5 Back Surgery and the doctor said it went well. He also said she is moving her legs and is still in recovery.
